Angel Reach Hosts Texas Marine Charity Golf Tournament Aug. 6 — Supporting Foster Youth Aging Out

The work that Angel Reach does in the Spring and Conroe corridor rarely makes headlines — until the nonprofit's biggest fundraiser of the year rolls around.

This year, the Texas Marine Charity Golf Tournament returns Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe (600 Margaritaville Parkway, Montgomery, TX 77356), with every dollar raised going directly to Angel Reach's work supporting young adults aging out of the foster care system.

Angel Reach's Resource Center in Conroe serves young adults ages 18 to 24 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness — a population that includes a meaningful share of young people aging out of foster care without the family or institutional safety net most adults take for granted.

The Resource Center provides housing navigation, case management, life-skills training, education and employment support, and the kind of wraparound services that turn a transitional crisis into a stable first chapter of adult life.

For readers in Spring, Klein, and Tomball, Angel Reach isn't a remote charity. Many of the young adults the organization serves are graduates of Spring ISD, Klein ISD, and Conroe ISD, and the Resource Center pulls volunteers from across the North Houston region.

The August tournament is the single largest annual fundraiser for that program — covering a meaningful share of the operating costs that keep the Resource Center open.

Tournament packages typically include foursome sign-ups, individual player slots, hole sponsorships, and dinner-only tickets for non-golfers who want to attend the evening reception and silent auction.

Specific packages, pricing, and the registration link are posted on the Texas Marine event page and on angelreach.org in the weeks ahead.
