Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 Comes to Spring Texas |
Your guide to restaurant weeks Spring Texas dining and prix fixe dining experiences across the area |

Something big is happening at dinner tables across north Houston this summer, and Spring, Texas is right in the middle of it.
Houston Restaurant Weeks 2026 is officially underway, running from August 1 through September 7 — a full 38 days of specially priced prix fixe dining designed to bring communities together while supporting local restaurants and hunger relief efforts.
Now in its 23rd year, this beloved Houston tradition is returning with one of its strongest north Houston lineups yet, offering residents 22 places to dine across Spring, Shenandoah, Conroe, New Caney and The Woodlands without ever heading into the city's core.
For restaurant weeks Spring Texas diners, three standout local options are on the table this season.
Wunsche Bros Cafe and Saloon in Old Town Spring brings the campaign into the historic heart of the community, where the food is just as storied as the building itself.
Sal e Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse in Shenandoah rounds out the experience with bold, fire-roasted flavors, while Xalisko Cocina Mexicana on Lake Woodlands Drive delivers a vibrant, contemporary take on Mexican cuisine.
Together, they represent the kind of neighborhood dining variety that Spring residents rarely get to celebrate all at once.
Prix fixe menus are priced at $25 for brunch and lunch, and $39 or $55 for dinner, available for both dine-in and takeout at participating locations.
A portion of every meal sold generates a direct donation to Houston Food Bank, the largest food bank in the United States, which serves 18 counties across Southeast Texas, including Montgomery County through its regional partnerships.
Over more than two decades, the event has raised upwards of $22 million for hunger relief, the equivalent of tens of millions of meals for food-insecure families across this region.
The timing of the campaign is no accident.
Restaurants across Greater Houston are navigating a difficult stretch, with rising food costs, tighter labor markets and the predictable summer slowdown hitting even the most established kitchens hard.
Houston Restaurant Weeks was built for exactly this kind of moment.
Farther north, residents in Conroe and New Caney can join the campaign at Black Walnut and two Saltgrass Steak House locations, making participation easy for families along the Interstate 45 and Grand Parkway corridors.
The Woodlands carries the region's largest concentration of participating restaurants, with 16 options ranging from Perry's Steakhouse and The Capital Grille to North Italia, Truluck's Ocean's Finest Seafood and Crab, Mastro's Ocean Club and Phat Eatery, covering everything from casual weekday lunches to milestone dinners along The Woodlands Waterway.
Founded in 2003 by the late Cleverley Stone, who coined the enduring phrase Dine Out and Do Good, the event is now produced by the Cleverley Stone Foundation under her daughter Katie Stone's leadership.
Menus are live now, and reservations are encouraged, especially for weekend dinners and popular waterway spots that tend to fill quickly once the season gets rolling.
Check participating menus carefully, as meal periods and available days can vary by location.
For Spring and north Houston diners, this is a rare kind of occasion where sitting down to a great meal does far more than satisfy an appetite. |

Hope Xalisko has their tacos on the menu. That place is underrated on Lake Woodlands Drive.
Capital Grille doing restaurant weeks is always a good time. Fancy but still feels worth it when the price is fixed.
$39 dinner menu at Sal e Brasa sounds like a good deal. Brazilian steakhouse is usually way more than that.
Wish the takeout option got more attention. Some of us have little ones at home and cant always do sit down.
Perry's pork chop during restaurant weeks is legendary. Do not sleep on it.
22 million raised for food bank over the years is incredible. Feel good about every dollar spent there.
Been going since they started this thing back in 2003. Feels like yesterday honestly.
Mastros Ocean Club for $55?? That is an insane value if the menu is good.
North Italia is always packed on weekends. If you want to go there during restaurant weeks get a reservation like right now.
Katie Stone keeping her moms vision going is really sweet. Cleverley built something special.
Took the kids to Old Town Spring last summer and they loved it. Wunsche Bros has such a cool vibe for a family dinner.
Rising food costs are real. Nice to see restaurants getting some support even if its indirect.
Phat Eatery is on the list?? Ok now I have a reason to head down to the Waterway finally.
Saltgrass is fine but I feel like they could get some more local places in Conroe. Just my opinion.
$25 for brunch is actually a great deal. Might do a girls lunch at one of the spots this month.
Black Walnut in Conroe is solid. Good pick for families who dont want to drive too far.
My husband and I do this every single year. It really is one of the best things about living up here in the summer.
22 years of this event and I just heard about it. Where have I been
Has anyone done Xalisko? Curious how the prix fixe menu looks there.
Trulucks during restaurant weeks is the move. Book early though that place fills up fast.
16 options in The Woodlands alone is crazy. Spring needs to step it up next year.
Love that part of the money goes to Houston Food Bank. Makes eating out feel a little less guilty lol
Went to Sal e Brasa last year during this and it was so good. Definitely going back.
$55 for dinner is a bit steep for a deal menu honestly
Cant wait to try Wunsche Bros! Been meaning to go forever.
