About
Established in 1995, the Spring Historical Museum strives to preserve the rich heritage of the area. Completed in 1948 as a church, it then served for a number of years as a courthouse. Years later, standing unused, the Spring Historical Society had the vision and tenacity to transform the building into the treasure it is today. Old Town Spring, nestled within the Town of Spring, Texas, is steeped in history as an 18th-century farming community and 19th-century railroad hub, now a Texas Historic Landmark. The Spring Historical Museum, refurbished in 2019 with a vibrant yellow hue, stands as a prominent landmark in Old Town Spring.
